Fancy being a Stand Up Comedian?
Here is your chance!  Harry Denford, one of the very best comedians on today's comedy circuit is bringing his stand up workshop to Twisters in Bournemouth.  Harry headlines all the top comedy clubs throughout the UK, he also has numerous TV, radio and film appearances to his name.  Harry is also a successful playwright.  Besides being rated amongst the cream of the crop Harry has the appropriate teaching qualifications so you really couldn't be taught the "art of stand up" by anyone better! This is a 2 day course being held at Twisters Comedy Club on Saturday the 29th July & Sunday 30th July 2006. The course also includes 2 tickets to the Friday night show at Twisters on the 28th July 2006 where Harry Denford will be headlining!
Harry's workshop is fully comprehensive and focuses on the following:   Developing your own unique "on stage" personality. Building your confidence as a stand up comedian Learning how to format your ideas into writing in a professional way Finding out the best way to promote yourself as a new comedian on the circuit!
Over the weekend everyone in the class will work together as a team.  Not only will you have a fantastic couple of days. you will truly be put on the correct road to a possible future in "stand up". The course is suitable for either complete novices or acts that have a little experience and need to build on their skills! Even if you are not after a full time career in stand up comedy this course can help to improve confidence and presentation skills. All those attending the course will also be booked into an open mic slot at Twister to try their newly developed skills!
